HOISINGTON — Cameron Wayne Burd, 25, passed away March 7, 2016, in Great Bend. Born April 10, 1990, in Great Bend, he was the son of Scott and Beverly Gilgenbach Burd. A longtime area resident, he was a lumber and sales associate at Sutherlands in Great Bend.
Mr. Burd was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Larned.
Survivors include, his parents; a brother, Shaun (Emily) Burd, of Ellis; a sister, Stephanie Burd (Matt Anderson), of Burdett; significant other, Tandy Webb, of Hoisington; two stepchildren, Meilah and Ryken Webb, both of the home; three nieces; two nephews; and a grandfather, John R. Gilgenbach of Phillipsburg. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dolores Gilgenbach and Verle, and Barbara Burd.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, at Beckwith Mortuary in Larned with Father Warren Stecklein presiding. Burial will be at the Brown’s Grove Cemetery in Burdett. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to service time Thursday at the mortuary. Memorials may be sent to the Webb children educational fund, in care of the funeral home.
