HOISINGTON — Carl Lee Bryant, 81, died March 31, 2020, at Great Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 2, 1939, in Compton, Ark., the son of Oscar and Maybell (Hollingsworth) Bryant.

On Jan. 27, 1961, he married Rose Marie Bird, in Lincoln, Kan. She preceded him in death on Jan. 17, 2015.

A longtime Hoisington resident, Carl retired from Klima Well Service. 

Survivors include his three children Louann Clark and husband Lawrence of Susank, Janice Lauber and husband Daniel of Great Bend, and Vivian Bryant of Great Bend; three sisters, Sandra Morrison, and Andra Dean, of Harrison, Ark., and Alma Fox of Larned; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; and a great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Roy Bryant; brothers, Leroy, Freddie, and Willie Bryant; a sister, Delpha Anderson; and a great-granddaughter, Abigail Richardson.

Friends may call 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Due to the restrictions of the current COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service will be held. Burial will be in Hoisington Cemetery.
