GREAT BEND – Carol J. Arnall, 76, died June 25, 2013 at Kansas Heart Hospital, Wichita.
She was born April 8, 1937 at Winfield, the daughter of Richard B. and Alta Mary (Flagger) Arnall.
She was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell, worked as a secretary for Geoff-Cartener Stock Exchange Office and Marlette Homes and retired after 38 years as a medical secretary at the Central Kansas Medical Center Lab, all of Great Bend.
Ms. Arnall was a lifetime Great Bend resident. She was a member of First Christian Church, Wagon Wheel Canasta Club, and chairperson of the Great Bend Cemetery Board. She was past president of PTA and a room mother at Riley Elementary, was active in reunion planning for Great Bend High School Class of 1956, was an avid KU fan, and enjoyed her grandsons’ sports and activities.
Survivors include a daughter, Jennifer Munsch and her husband Michael, Great Bend; two grandchildren, Aaron Munsch and Trent Munsch, Great Bend; two nieces, Sharon Kay Watson, Mansfield, Texas; and Carol Anne Arnall, Corpus Christi, Texas; and a beloved pet Yorkie Roscoe.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Harold Arnall; and a nephew, Curtis Arnall.
Funeral Service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Sweany officiating. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled from noon to 9 p.m. Friday at Bryant Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorial Funds are suggested to the Golden Belt Humane Society or Great Bend Senior Center, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
