CISNE, Ill. — Caroll G. Worlow, 84, died Oct. 10, 2015 at Flora Garden Healthcare, Flora, Ill. Caroll was born June 8, 193l near Xenia, Ill to Bill and Freida (Barnhouse) Worlow. He married Maxine Mann Oct. 30, 1951, in Oblong, Ill.
Caroll was employed by Waukesha as a mechanic for over 42 years. He went to work for PAMCO and Stewart and Stevenson in Great Bend in 1965 as Service Manager and retired around 2000. It has been said of Caroll’s abilities, “If you could break it, he could fix it.” He enjoyed camping.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Chlores, and one nephew Larry.
He is survived by his wife Maxine of Flora, Ill.; one daughter Linda (Terry) Garvert of Plymouth, Minn.; grandchildren Brannon Garvert of Ashville, N.C., and Stacie (Daniel) Shea of Greenwich, Conn; one great grandchild Colby and another great grandchild soon to arrive. He is also survived by one sister Garnet Martin of Champaign, Ill., and one brother Doyle (Linda) Worlow of Girard, Ill.
Funeral service was Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the Hosselton Funeral Home. Burial was at Cisne Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Clay County Hospice and will be accepted at Hosselton Funeral Home.
