Cecilia M. Schremmer, 91, of Great Bend, died Sept. 16, 2015, at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Oct. 26, 1923 at Odin, the daughter of Frank Joseph and Frances T. (Kessler) Ille.
She married Wilfred Andrew Schremmer Oct. 26, 1948 at Odin. He died Dec. 7, 2009. A Great Bend resident since 1995, coming from Odin, Mrs. Schremmer was a homemaker and also worked as a housekeeper at Hoisington Hospital.
She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Altar Society, Great Bend.
Survivors include one son, Vernon Schremmer and his wife Pat of Kennett, Mo; three daughters, Lou Ann Gray and her husband Ernest of Peabody, Marita Elliot and her husband Charles of Ellinwood, and Sandy R. Maneth and her husband John of Great Bend; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, two brothers, Frank Joseph Ille and Leonard Ille, and two sisters, Frances D. Ille and Sr. Ann Louise Ille.
Altar Society Rosary will be at 4:00 p.m., and Vigil Service will be at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 21, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend with Father Don Bedore celebrating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 21, 2015 in Holy Family Cemetery, Odin. Friends may call from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials have been established with Almost Home, Inc. or Holy Family Cemetery Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
