LARNED — Cecilia A (Penka) Hall, age 94, passed away Dec. 8, 2019 at Country Living, Larned. Born Aug. 19, 1925 in Pawnee County, Kan., the 15th child of Frank and Anna (Frenzl) Penka.

A lifetime area resident she attended Zook and Larned area schools, graduating in 1943. She moved to Wichita where she worked for Boeing as a riveter on the B-29’s. She later worked as a psychiatric aid at Larned State Hospital, Larned.

On Aug. 7, 1947 she married Eugene W. Hall at Larned, Kan.; he preceded her in death on Aug. 1, 2002.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society of Larned, Merry Matrons EHU and Quilting club of Garfield.

Survivors include four daughters, Annelle (Wayne) Buehler, Mary Norris, both of Ellijay, Ga., Cindy (Bob) Cline, Garfield, Karen (Bryan) Stacey, Larned; a son, Steven (Marilyn) Hall, Garfield; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and five great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene; son-in-law Larry Norris; granddaughter Amy Buehler; grandson Brett Hall, and a great-granddaughter Natalie Johnson.

Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, with Father Bernard Felix presiding. Visitation 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, followed by a Vigil at 7 p.m. at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial in Garfield Cemetery, Garfield.
