Charles H. Fish 1929-2015

Raymond — Charles H. Fish, 85, died October 23, 2015, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 19, 1929, in Radium, to John and Edith (Stewart) Fish.
Charles was an Army Corporal, pipeliner and carpenter before becoming the longtime owner and operator of Fish Service Station in Raymond where he was a member of the Raymond Baptist Church.
On March 23, 1958, he married Arletta Byers in Hoisington. She survives.
Other survivors include: sons, Craig Fish and wife Ashley, Great Bend, Kirk Fish and wife Tammy, Raymond; daughter, Karyn Schemm and husband Kurt, Derby; grandchildren, Melissa McCarter, Delaney Hinton-Fish, Alexander Schemm, Samantha Schemm, Angela Taylor, Anessa Fish; great-grandchildren, Raegan Schemm and Brooke Taylor; sisters, Julia Herren and Evelyn Whitmire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Cremation has taken place. The family asks you to join them in celebrating the life of Charles on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Raymond Gym, in Raymond. Memorials may be made to the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, “Take Me Fishing” program, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson KS. 67501.
