ELLINWOOD — Chris E. Schwartz, 28, passed away at Rice Co. District Hospital in Lyons, Kan. on April 2nd, 2020. Born to parents Curtis Schwartz and Salina Kimberlin on June 3rd, 1991 Chris was a longtime Ellinwood resident where he graduated from high school in 2009, later graduating from Beloit Technical College in Masonry. Chris was a former employee at Ernstings Inc. in Ellinwood previously working as a welder in Tacoma, Wash. He loved hunting, fishing, and his dog Rocco. 

Survivors include parents Curtis Schwartz and Salina Kimberlin; brothers, Peyton Schwartz and Chaince Schwartz; girlfriend, Becki Davis and son, Jeremiah; grandparents, Lois Kimberlin and Joan Schwartz. Other survivors include many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Chris was preceded in death by grandfathers, Rheinard Schwartz and Wayne Kimberlin.
