Cindy Huslig, 55, died Oct. 25, 2013 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita. She was born Dec. 22, 1957 at Great Bend, the daughter of Elmer and Laura (Dolezal) Reiser.
She married David Huslig Sept. 20, 1980 at Great Bend. She was owner and operator of Ernie’s Bar and Grill and was a rural route carrier for the Hoisington Post Office. Mrs. Huslig was a lifetime Barton County resident and a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Altar Society, both of Great Bend. She also loved gardening and spending time with her family.
Survivors include husband: David Huslig of the home; parents: Elmer and Laura Reiser of Great Bend; one son: Wyatt Huslig of Great Bend; one daughter: Kayci Huslig of Great Bend; one brother: Doug Reiser and his wife Roxann of Great Bend; two sisters: Cathy Anderson and her husband Randy of Great Bend; and Renee Buntain and her husband Darren of Great Bend.
Altar Society Rosary will be at 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home. Vigil Service will be at 7 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend with Father Ted Stoecklein as celebrant. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery North. Visitation is from 1 to 9 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorial Fund: Lasting Life Ministries to benefit Almost Home, Inc.
