Cindy Louise Stillwagoner, 71, passed away Aug. 25, 2021, at Diversicare of Larned. She was born Oct. 9, 1949, at Hays to Victor Lang, Sr. and Minnie (Staab) Lang. She married Richard Stillwagoner on Jan. 18, 1971, at Great Bend.
Cindy graduated Marion High School in Hays and the Dominican School of Nursing in Great Bend. She was a RN at CKMC in the operating room, and the office nurse for Dr. Wendale McAllaster and Great Bend Internists. She was the owner of the Ceramic Corner. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Altar Society and St. Rose and Dominican Alumni Association. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include, her husband, Richard Stillwagoner of the home; a son, Marc Stillwagoner and wife Melinda of Mansfield, Texas; a daughter, Rebecca Smith and husband Matt of Meridian, Id.; and four grandchildren, Lillie Stillwagoner, Luke Stillwagoner, Danielle Smith and Natalie Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Victor Lang, Jr.; and a sister, Norma Buckler.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m., Friday, Aug. 27, 2021 at Bryant Funeral Home, with Altar Society rosary at 4 p.m. and Vigil service at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with Father Prakash Kola presiding. Interment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery. Memorials have been designated to National Kidney Association or Midwest Transplant Network, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
