GARFIELD — Clarence Robert “Bob” Brack,84, passed away peacefully at home Aug. 3, 2016. Born Dec. 4, 1931 in Larned, he was the son of Clarence Raymond Brack and Esther W. Eikmeier.
A lifetime area resident, he was a retired farmer and a rural mail carrier. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War from 1951-1958. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned and the American Legion, Garfield.
On November 20, 1956 he married Corrine J. Schartz. She survives.
Other survivors include; five daughters; Denise Schrader (Monte), Midland, Texas; Lisa Graver (Kent), Great Bend; Joni Geiman (Lonny), Hutchinson; Terri Ryan (Jerry), Russell and Gayle Maltby (Junior), Aline, Okla.; 12 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one half-sister, Pat Henderson, Federal Way, Wash.; one step-sister, Connie Ratliff, Larned; two step-brothers, Dr. William Dickey, Parker, Colo. and Dr. Gary Dickey, Littleton, Colo. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Warren Stecklein presiding. Vigil Service and rosary will be 7 p.m. Monday at the Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Friends may sign the register, 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Cremation has taken place and Inurnment will be in the Larned Cemetery, with military graveside rites. Memorials may be given to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, the Garfield Fire department or the Garfield EMS, all in care of the Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS 67550.
