Clifford M. Bellinger, 84, of Great Bend, died Dec. 30 at Cherry Village in Great Bend. Born Aug. 6, 1926 in Fort Scott, he was the son of John Semple and Bonnie Gretchen McCargar Bellinger. He married Sallly Fox in 1955 in Wichita. She died in 1972. A resident of Barton and Rush counties for 21 years, residing in Great Bend, Otis and Denver, Colo., he was a retired engineering draftsman after working 35 years with Boeing.

Mr. Bellinger was a member of the First Christian Church in Great Bend.

Survivors include a son, CH "LTC" Ken Bellinger and wife Patty of Stuttgart, Germany; a daughter, Claudia Wyatt and husband Wyatt of Albert; a stepbrother, Darrell Bellinger and wife Cheryl of Wichita; a sister, Virginia Faye Lauthen and husband Steve of Georgetown, Texas; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A casual time of remembrance will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church in Great Bend, with the Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church in Great Bend in care of Kimple Funeral Home.
