BELPRE — Clifford Wesley Belt, 58, died June 17 at the home of his son in Melton, Fla. Born on Sept. 23, 1952, in Larned, he was the son of Lloyd and Leota Mead Belt. He attended school in Trousdale, Belpre and Macksville.
Survivors include his wife Joyce, of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Linda Hughes of Otis; and mother, Leota Belt of Otis; sons, Brian Belt of Melton, Fla., Ryan Belt of Pawnee Rock, and David Johnson of Kansas City; daughters, Joann Rupp of Plainfield, Ill., and Jill Johnson of Kearney, Mo.; and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Belt; and grandparents, Cliff and Daisy Belt and W.E. and Ada Mead.
Memorial service will be at the Belpre Cemetery at 10 a.m. Thursday with Pastor John Thomas presiding. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or Belpre Cemetery Fund for new fence, in care of Morell Funeral Home.
