Connie Ann Johnson, 61, died July 4, 2016, at her home in Great Bend. Born March 5, 1955, in Great Bend, she was the daughter of Dean and Bobby Ann (Parish) Johnson. A lifetime resident of Great Bend, she was employed by Walmart in shipping and receiving. She enjoyed playing softball, bowling and spending time with family.
Survivors include two sisters, Jill Johnson and Alethea Peschka and her husband Joseph Sr., both of Great Bend; one brother, Lloyd “Chopper” and his wife Kathy Johnson of Great Bend; four nephews, Joseph Peschka Jr. and his wife Dycie, Thomas Peschka and his wife Jamie, Shawn Johnson and Robert, and Scott Johnson; two nieces, Lottie Johnson Arnold and her husband Michael and Lisa Smith and her husband Kenneth; great-nieces and great-nephews, Dayaneara, Persephenie and Liberty Peschka, Maleia and Zayden Johnson, Alex Snyder, Kimberly Rosenbahm, and Jacob, Logan and Madison Peschka. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Kermit Johnson; great-nephew Garin Dean Arnold; and great-niece Rozlyn Faye.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 8 at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Don Paden officiating. Burial will be at the Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m., on Thursday at the funeral home.
