GARFIELD — Corrine J. Brack passed away May 9, 2020 at Country Living in Larned.

She was born Nov. 22, 1932 in Larned, Kan., the daughter of Charles V. and Dora L. (Sewing) Schartz.

A lifetime resident of the Zook, Larned, and Garfield area, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Larned and the Altar Society of the parish.

On Nov. 20, 1956 she married Clarence R. Brack at Larned; he preceded her in death on Aug. 3, 2016.

She is survived by five daughters Denise Schrader (Monte), Midland, Texas, Lisa Graver (Kent), Great Bend, Kan., Joni Geiman (Lonny), Hutchinson, Kan., Terri Ryan (Jerry), Russell, Kan., and Gayle Maltby, (Junior), Aline, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Greg (Betty) Schartz and Gordon (Malia) Schartz, both of Larned.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother C. Omar Schartz; and sister Carol Jean Schartz. 

Due to COVID-19, a private family funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, with Father Bernard Felix presiding. Public live stream via Facebook at www.facebook.com/beckwithmortuary. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2020, followed by a vigil at 7 p.m. at Beckwith Mortuary Chapel, Larned. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned at 11 a.m. and viewable via Facebook Live.
