Cynthia Ann Harnett-Dilker 1967 - 2017

HOISINGTON — Cynthia Ann Harnett-Dilker, 50, died Nov. 9, 2017, at her home in Hoisington. She was born May 9, 1967, in Elgin, Illinois, the daughter of Joseph Arthur and Lelia Marie (Kyle) Dondelinger.
Cindy graduated from Waconda East High School, Cawker City, Kansas. She later received her degree in nursing from Barton County Community College.
During her nursing training, Cindy worked for Central Kansas Medical Center. With her RN degree she then went to work for the Larned State Hospital in the Isaac Ray Building.
Cindy had previously worked for the Beloit Juvenile Correctional Facility, Beloit, Kansas.
Cindy loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She liked to travel, shop, go for rides on the trike and 4 wheelers and do crafts. Cindy loved life and lived it to the fullest. She did all she could to make life memorable for those around her.
On March 7, 2005, she married Rodney B. Dilker in Las Vegas, Nevada. He survives.
Other survivors include; three children, Samantha Volesky and husband Chris of Thornton, Colo. Tyler Harnett of Hoisington, and Trevor Dean Harnett of Cawker City; three step children, Jeffrey Dilker of South Wales, N.Y, Apryl Krah and husband Steven of West Seneca, N.Y, Adam Dilker and wife Leigh of Pendleton, N.Y; her mother and stepfather, Lelia and William Clyde Wilson of Cawker City; stepmother, Sharon Rea-Dondelinger of Utica, Ill; sister, Christina Chestnut and husband David of Franklin, Neb; brother, Mark Reames and wife Lori of Hoisington; two step brothers, Troy Dondelinger and wife Dana of Scottsbluff, Neb, and Sean Dondelinger of Streater, Ill; two grandchildren, Logan and Ethan Volesky; and two step grandchildren, Zachary Dilker-Krah and Mason Dilker.
Cremation has taken place. Per Cindy’s wishes a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
