Cynthia Darlene Schetrom, age 62 years, lifelong Great Bend, Kan. resident, passed away on Thursday afternoon, April 13, 2023 at Diversicare of Larned in Larned, Kan. “Cindy” was born on Aug. 7, 1960 at Delhart, Texas to James and Anna May (Raybern) Walker. She provided child care from her home and dearly loved her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Cindy also loved her coffee and cigarettes.

Survivors include three brothers Michael Bradley (and Angie) Kramer of Larned, Kan., Ross (and Jennifer) Kramer of Kansas City, Kan., and Billy Ray Morrison of Hays, Kan.; three sisters:  Becky Lloyd of Larned, Kan., Sandra Thompson and Rose Lind, both of Hays, Kan.; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents; one brother David Walker; and one sister Tammy Hayes.

According to her wishes, cremation has been chosen and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made in care of the family with Charter Funerals of Great Bend, Kansas in charge.
