Daniel Paul Glaze, 36, passed away May 13, 2021, in Great Bend, Kan. He was born in Kinsley, Kan., on Sept. 11, 1984, to Anthony Paul and Dianna (Hull) Glaze. His father, Anthony Glaze preceded him in death.
Daniel graduated from Macksville High School in 2001.
He was a loving father, devoted partner and a hard worker. He always enjoyed being outdoors. Camping, fishing and gardening were his favorite pass times. He was quick witted and enjoyed playing jokes on his family and friends.
He spent several years employed in the oilfield industry. He worked at Klima, Classic, Kelso and JD’s Well Service. He was also a certified welder.
Survivors include his life partner, Jennifer Gardiner of the home; his children, Danielle Glaze, Gracie Glaze, Isaiah Hernandez and Christian Hernandez of Great Bend, as well as Benjamin Glaze and Ally Jo Crotinger and their mother, Theresa Crotinger of Hays, Kan.; his mother, Dianna Glaze and step father Kirk Piper of Otis, Kan.; and siblings, Dustin Hawkins of Wichita, Patrick Piper of Otis, and Jacqueline Powell of Wichita.
A celebration of life service will be held at 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at American Legion Post #3111 in Great Bend. Memorials have been designated to the Daniel Paul Glaze Memorial Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net
