IUKA — David A. Colyn Jr., 55, died March 23, 2015, at Pratt Regional Medical Center. Born Feb. 21, 1960, in Denver, Colo. he was the son of David A. and Faye Colyn Sr. He was a former resident of McPherson graduating from McPherson High School.  On May 26, 2005 he married Lillian Galletta in Pratt. He was a fabricator for Fab-Pro of Kingman.
Mr. Colyn attended the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife Lillian Galletta Colyn of Iuka; stepsons, Shannon Keesler of Canada and Shane Keesler of Larned; two stepdaughters, Linda Gobin of Larned and Martha Lisa Briley of Hoisington; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on April 10, at Ayres-Calbeck Mortuary in Pratt with Pastor Louis Keeling officiating. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association, in care of the mortuary.
