David Juergensen, 62, died April 2, 2013 at home in Great Bend. He was born April 12, 1950 at Great Bend, the son of Emil and Alverta (Steinert) Juergensen.
He married Dorothy Lewis at Great Bend. This union was blessed with two daughters, Jennifer and Tracee.  They were later divorced. He worked in the oilfield, employed by Petro Log, Baker Line, Murray Casing Crews and Allied Cementing.
Mr. Juergensen was a lifetime Great Bend resident and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Great Bend, and loved to bowl, play cards, visit casinos, paint, do yard work or any other outdoor activity.
He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Pfiester and husband Daniel of Great Bend and Tracee Juergensen of Great Bend; three sisters, Marilyn Keller of San Antonio, Texas, Vera Bortolotti and husband Louie of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Carma Tinkel and husband Darrell of Great Bend; three brothers, Lyle Juergensen and wife Beverly of Great Bend, Fred Juergensen and wife Darla of Smithville, Mo., and Louis Juergensen and companion Karen Kozisek of Omaha, Neb.; two grandchildren, Alan Adams and Ashley Juergensen; and  several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Marion Keller.
Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on  Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home with The Reverend James A. Strasen officiating. There is no visitation as cremation has taken place.
