ARKANSAS CITY — Daymar “Brigette” Felder, 63, of Arkansas City passed away Sept. 10, 2012 at the South Central Kansas Medical Center in Arkansas.
Born March 27, 1949 in Berchtesgaden, Germany, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Margaret (Sieler).
She worked on the family farm from age 11. She graduated from Kerwin High School in Kerwin. On Dec. 17, 1967 she was united in marriage with Curtis Odle Sr. The couple later divorced. She was later united in marriage with Jimmy Felder. Brigette worked for General Mills and at Great Bend Packing in the boning line.
Survivors include her husband Ronald Shroyer of the home; three daughters, Mechalle Wells and her husband Jim, Abilene; Cindy Odle and her wife Kenna Hester, Seminole, Okla.; and Cristy Soria and her husband Mark,  Simi Valley, Calif.; a son, Curtis Odle Jr. and his wife Shawna, Stafford; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and her sister, Sonya Hensel of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Hawks-Shelley Funeral Home. No visitation is scheduled as cremation has taken place. A memorial has been established with Rivercross Hospice and may be left with the Hawks-Shelley Funeral Home.
