ELLINWOOD — Deborah A. Herrman, 59, died March 25 at Via Christi St. Francis, Wichita.  Born May 5, 1953 at Ellinwood, she was the daughter of Edwin L. Corbett, Jr. and Ruth (Hekele) Corbett.
A lifetime Ellinwood resident, Herrman was a Certified Nurse Aid at Woodhaven Care Center, Ellinwood.  She was a 1971 Ellinwood High School graduate and attended Barton County Community College and Fort Hays State University.  On Oct. 18, 1975, she married Ralph Herrman at Ellinwood.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Altar Society, Ellinwood.
Survivors include her husband, of the home, and her son, Brad (Candace) Herrman, Ellinwood, two daughters, Rebecca Herrman and Rachel (Kris) Cell, both of Ellinwood.  She is also survived by her mother, Ruth Corbett, Ellinwood, and four brothers:  Edwin Corbett, Olathe; Michael Corbett, Sioux Falls, SD; James Corbett, Ellinwood; Kevin Corbett, Ellinwood, and five grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 28 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Ellinwood, officiated by Father Charles Mazouch. Visitors may call on the family from 1-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.  An Altar Society rosary and 7 p.m. Vigil Service will both be held on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Lakin-Comanche District Cemetery, Ellinwood.  Memorials are suggested to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
