OFFERLE — Dennis Dean Herrman, 50, died Saturday, September 14, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Born Nov. 16, 1962 in Great Bend, he was the son of Georgiana Herrman and the late Francis A. Herrman.
Dennis loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Kinsley Gun Club and the NRA. He also loved watching and going to sporting events. Dennis was very devoted to his family and friends. Everyone enjoyed his witty sense of humor and hearty laugh. Dennis will be greatly missed.
Survivors include, his mother; one brother, Floyd (Susie) Herrman of South Bend, Ind.; five sisters, Karen (Joe) Knowles, of Arvada, Colo., Dana (Virgil) Konda, of Spearville, Tricia Miller, of Wichita, Janet (John) Mullins, of Dripping Springs, Texas, Michelle (Todd) Haetten, of Wichita; three nephews, Cade Olson, Matt (Jaymi) Konda, John Mullins IV; 4 Nieces, April Williams, Marissa Mullins, Korynn and Caleigh Haetten; two great-nephews, Tyson Williams and Mathias Konda; and one great-niece, Lily Blackburn. He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. today at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Spearville, with Father Rene Labrador presiding. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Kansas Wetlands Education Center at Cheyenne Bottoms in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to www.zieglerfuneralchapel.com.
