Dennis R. Milhon, 67, died Jan. 2 at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation, Great Bend. He was born July 30, 1945, in Hutchinson, the son of Norman Ray and Valeta B Derley Milhon. A lifetime area resident, he was a CMA and a radio station announcer for KANS.
He was a member of the First Christian Church and a Boy Scout Leader, both of Larned and the Argonne Rebels, Great Bend.
On June 5, 1965 he married Sue Desmo, then on Nov. 28, 1991, he married Charlene McKenzie at Great Bend.  She survives.
Other survivors include his mother, Valeta B Milhon, Larned; a son, Darin Milhon, Larned; two daughters, Dana Voorhees, Longmont, Colo., and Darcy Orvalla, Craig, Colo.; a stepson, Lowell Harp, Cheyenne, Wyo.; two brothers, Darrell Milhon, McCook, Neb., and David Milhon, Kansas City, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Norman Ray Milhon, and a daughter, Moureen Dyan Milhon.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned, with Pastor Dan Lundgren presiding. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and until service time Saturday at the mortuary. Memorials may be sent to the Great Bend Humane Society, in care of the mortuary.
