SALINA — Dolores Nadine Bender, 81, died July 3, 2012.

She was born Aug 24, 1930 in Russell, the daughter of Victor and Malena (Giddeon) Schneider.

She was a self employed housekeeper and an avid bingo player.

She is survived by her son, Brian Bender, Denver, Colo.; and her daughter, Brenda (Mark) Schartz, Salina. She has four grandchildren, Jason Briscoe, Dawn (Dan) Pickett, Sierra Schartz and Nicole (Kevin) Courtney and four great grandchildren, Hailey, Leanda, Aiden, and Mary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton in 2008; a brother, Leon Schneider and a sister, Aileen Hodges.

Funeral services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday, July 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Salina. Burial will be at 2 p.m. that afternoon in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Russell.

Friends may call at the Ryan Mortuary from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 5 and the family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. that afternoon.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice Care of Kansas.
