Donald Raymond Prosser 1940 - 2018

PRATT — Donald Raymond Prosser, 78, of Pratt, Kan., passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Pratt Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 22, 1940, in Nashville, the son of John and Teresa (Meyeres) Prosser. On June 22, 1963, he married Lorraine V. (Penne) Prosser at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend. She survives.

Don worked as a field supervisor for Northern Natural Gas. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pratt, Ducks Unlimited, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, National Rifle Association and was a 4th Degree life member in the Knights of Colombus. He served in the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lorraine; children, Ricky (Marilyn) Prosser of St. Charles, Missouri, Kristine (Roger) Adelhardt of Pratt and Rodney (Laura) Prosser of Greensburg; brothers, Lester Prosser of Great Bend and Charles Prosser of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren, Kimberly (Casey) Pritchett, Kaylee (Ross) Schiffelbein, Keith Prosser, Krystal Adelhardt, Heidee Prosser, Payton Prosser, Morgan Prosser and Carson Prosser; and three great-grandchildren, Logan and Casen Pritchett and Brantley Schiffelbein. Don was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dolores Newell. Cremation has taken place.

Friends may sign the book Monday from 9:00 a.m to 5 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.  Vigil and Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Pratt. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Michael Klag presiding. Inurnment with military honors will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church or Pratt Parks Department in care of Larrison Mortuary. Online condolences may be left at www.larrisonmortuary.com.
