GREAT BEND – Donna Anne Renz, 87, passed away, Sept. 10, 2018, at the University of Kansas Health System-Great Bend Campus. 

She was born at LaCrosse, September 14, 1930, to Harold and Dora (Wilson) Murphy. 

Having moved to Great Bend in 1973, Anne was a resident of Great Bend.  She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was a secretary for over 20 years at Fuller Brush.  She loved to cook, was the No. 1 pet lover and always loved to spend time with her family.  Anne had lots of friends and was always a friendly face to everybody she met.  

Survivors include, long-time companion, Robert Vasquez; one son, Pat Renz and wife Gina, Ellsworth; one daughter, Suzy Kruckenberg and husband Jay, Mooreland, Okla.; five grandchildren, Sammy Kruckenberg and wife Paige, Kenny Kruckenberg, Tell Renz and wife Mika, Ty and Trey Renz, and two great-grandchildren, Dace and Breilynn Renz.  

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.  Funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Great Bend, with Rev. Adam Wutka presiding.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to the Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
