Donna Jean Olsen, 90, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021, at River Bend Assisted Living in Great Bend. Donna was born July 4, 1930, in Graettinger, Iowa to Melvin and Verna (Allen) Bratrud. She was united in marriage to Gaylord Dean Olsen on August 22, 1949, at Blakjer Lutheran Church in Palo Alto, County, Iowa. He passed away October 31, 2014.

Donna has been a resident of Great Bend since 2004 coming from Graettinger, Iowa, to be close to her daughters. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include two sons, Danny Lee Olsen and wife Vickie of Des Moines, Iowa, and Mark Allen Olsen and wife Cheryl of Atlanta, Georgia; two daughters, Diane Kay Olsen and Coleen Mossberg, both of Great Bend; one brother, Alan Bratrud of Jackson, Minnesota; one sister, Judy Olson of Mankato, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Trevor Olsen and Shannon Mossberg; and three great-grandchildren, Shyanna Kuehler, Sheridan Kuehler and Hadley Olsen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister, Marlys Macomber.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A celebration of Life will be held 2-4 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Kansas Trophy Experience Lodge, 54 SE 10 Rd. Great Bend. Memorial service will be held at a later date in Graettinger, Iowa.

Memorial is suggested to the St. Jude Children Hospital, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
