Dorothy Maneth

Dorothy Maneth, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, entered eternal life on Jan. 16, 2026, at Good Shepherd Hospice, Manhattan, Kan.

Dorothy was born Feb. 25, 1930, in Beaver, Kan., to John and Margaret (Boor) Schneweis. One of ten children, she was raised in a close-knit family that shaped her lifelong devotion to faith, family, and service.

A devoted Roman Catholic, Dorothy was an active member of Prince of Peace Parish in Great Bend and St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Liberal, where she helped establish the Altar of Adoration.
