WICHITA — Dorothy S. Wittrock, 88, died Sept. 6 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita. She was born Aug. 17, 1925, at Strong City, the daughter of Harry E. and Josephine (Houdeshell) Sisson. She married Lloyd Ray Wittrock Dec. 22, 1957, at Great Bend.  He died July 25, 1998. She was an elementary and special education teacher for Unified School District 428, Great Bend. Mrs. Wittrock was a longtime Wichita resident, coming from Great Bend.
She was a member of East Heights United Methodist Church and UMW, both of Wichita.
She is survived by a son, Alan Wittrock of Wichita. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Sisson and Charles Sisson, and one sister, Edith Goins.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Christopher Fleet officiating. Interment will be at Peace Church Cemetery, Hudson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Friendly Acres, in care of the funeral home.
