Douglas James Wells, 60, died Nov. 17, 2017, at his home in Great Bend. He was born April 20, 1957, at Great Bend, the son of Kenneth and Ruby (Popp) Wells. A lifetime Great Bend resident, Mr. Wells was an installer for Wells Seamless Guttering and owned Wells Shoe Repair.
Survivors include his father, Kenneth Wells of Great Bend; and three sisters, Debi McAnulla and her husband Steve, Carol Herrman and her husband Bill, and Cherie Davis, all of Great Bend.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials have been established with American Diabetes Association or Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
