LARNED — Dwight Dwain Wagner, son of Edwin Wagner and Mabel {Hinkel) Wagner, passed away on Feb. 3, 2023 at Diversicare of Larned, Kan.

Dwight was born in Ness City, Kan. on March 18, 1934. Graduating from Ness City High School in 1953.

After graduating, Dwight enlisted into the United States Army serving in Germany as an interpreter for four years.

Dwight enjoyed many jobs in his life but found his joy and calling at Larned State Hospital as an LMHT II for 14 years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, loved spending time at the Welcome INN in Larned, Kan. where he shared about his love of hunting and fishing. Dwight also loved to ride Harley’s, bowling and was an avid domino player. 

Dwight was proceeded in death by his parents Edwin and Mabel Wagner; by one sister Donna Dossett; two brothers Eugene Wagner and Willie Wagner.

Survivors include his only son Curtis D. Wagner and his wife Brenda both of Larned, Kan.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life Memorial at a later date.
