Edith June Treece, 92,  passed away on Friday, March 21. She was born in St. John, to John and Emma Smith on June 21, 1921.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; daughter Linda Theus; eight sisters and one brother. She was the youngest sibling.

She is survived by son Randall Treece of Wichita, cat Millie and many nieces and nephews. She was an avid gardener and quilter.

Services will be held at First Christian Church, Great Bend at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29. In lieu of flowers it is requested that donations be made to either the Barton County Food Bank in Great Bend or the Wichita Food Bank, in her name.
