GREAT BEND — Edna Belle Gagelman, 96, died Dec. 2, 2015 at Brookdale Senior Living, Great Bend.
She was born Jan. 3, 1919 at Great Bend, the daughter of Walter H. and Jane (Sullivan) Doonan.
She married Norman Gustave Gagelman Aug. 18, 1940 at Great Bend. He died June 9, 1985.
She was a homemaker. Mrs. Gagelman was a Great Bend resident since 1990, coming from rural Albert. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a 4-H clothing leader, and enjoyed making stained glass and ceramics and gardening.
Survivors include a daughter, Janelda Brumitt and her husband Bill, St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Rita Gagelman, rural Albert; four grandchildren, Jerry Gagelman and his wife Yael, Lance Gagelman and his wife Belinda, Shelly Harders, and Richard Harders, Jr.; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, Tiffany Placke and her husband Ken and Jason Brumitt and his wife Wendy; five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Merlin Gagelman; a brother, Donald Walter Doonan, and a granddaughter, Krista Gagelman.
Funeral Service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bryant Funeral Home The Reverend Richard B. Monson and Rita Gagelman officiating. Interment will be at the Great Bend Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bryant Funeral Home.
Memorial Funds are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
