HUDSON – Edna Mae Spangenberg, 91, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Salina. Born Feb. 1, 1927, she was the daughter of Wohler and Mary Mae Rogers Ohlrogge. On Oct. 11, 1953, she married Walter Spangenberg at Radium. He died Jan. 26, 1979.
She is survived by a son, Marlyn (Candy) Spangenberg; daughters, Myrna (Eugene) Perkins and Marlene (Mike) Pollock; brother, Frank Ohlrogge; grandchildren, Shannon (Jon) Kinderknecht, Brandon (Marie) Perkins, Jared (Barbara) Lewis and Tyler Lewis; great grandchildren, Hunter and Connor Olson, Bentley and Liam Lewis, Caleb, Chloe and Camden Kinderknecht, Paul, Tony and Nicholas Perkins. She was preceded in death by sisters, Ann Heinze, Dorothy Wells and Irene Fischer; brothers, Vaughn, John, Charlie Glenn, Chet and Herman Jay.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 9 at Minnis Chapel, Stafford. Burial will be at the Trinity Cemetery, Hudson. Visitation will be Thursday 1-7 p.m. with the family receiving friends 4:30 – 7 p.m. at the chapel. Memorials may be sent to the First Christian Church of Great Bend in care of the chapel.
