LARNED — Edward Wayne Hesher, 86, passed away Nov. 28, at Diversicare of Larned. Born Dec. 1, 1927, in Gypsum, he was the son of Bert and Dorris Hawthorne Hesher. On April 20, 1952, he married Patricia L. Turpin in Kansas City, Mo. She survives. Moving from Topeka to Larned in 1952, he was an Accountant/Business Manager for the State of Kansas.
Mr. Hesher was a member of the Kiwanis Club in Larned.
Other survivors include, three sons, Edward H. Hesher of Amarillo, Texas, T. Thomas Hesher of Larned, and Micheal W. Hesher, Estes Park, Colo.; a daughter, Sandra H. Chelcun of Estes Park, Colo.; a brother, Billy Bert Hesher of Titusville, Fla.; a sister, Sibyl Netherton of Titusville, Fla.; and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dixie Bogart; and two brother-in-laws, Ralph (Smoky) Bogart, and Robert L. Netherton Sr.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Larned EMS (lift assist) in care of the funeral home.
