HOLYROOD — Elmer L. Showalter, 93, passed away Sept. 23, 2014 in Ellsworth. Born June 10, 1921, in Emporia, he was the son of Ella Showalter. Living in Holyrood since 1957, he worked for Ferrell-Stamback where he did roustabout and dirt work.
