Elnora L. Rieschick 1925 - 2017

SOLDIER — Elnora Lou Langley Rieschick, 91, of Soldier, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017 at her home. She was born Dec. 28, 1925 in Hoyt, the daughter of Clell M. and Lou Vina (Garner) Langley.
Elnora attended South Star grade school in Meriden and graduated from Soldier High School in 1943. She spent most of her life in the Soldier community. Elnora worked alongside her husband, Clyde, on the family farm and dairy. Her passion was being a homemaker. She was also a Mary Kay Consultant.
She was a member of the Soldier Christian Church and past member of Soldier Rosebud Club. Elnora was involved in many social and volunteer community activities.
She married Clyde Milton Rieschick on Oct. 19, 1947, in Topeka. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2014.
Survivors include three daughters, Rita Krause (Rick) of Great Bend, Leah Kulczewski (John) of Wheaton, Ill., and Marty Williams (Henry) of Soldier; a brother, Dale Langley (Alice) of Topeka; six grandchildren, MacAdam Krause (Ashley), Gretchen Krause Perez (Josh), Marty Kulczewski Philipchuck (John), Stacy Kulczewski, Tyler Williams (Jena) and Reid Williams; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Reba Heinrich and Phyllis Langley, and two brothers, Earl and Don Langley.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 27, at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow in the Soldier Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 2-4:00 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be given to the Soldier Christian Church, Holton Community Hospital Hospice or Soldier Hall, in care of the funeral home.
