Elora Mary Robinson 1918 - 2016

Larned – Elora Mary Robinson, 98, passed away July 29, 2016, at Medicalodge of Kinsley. She was born Jan. 10, 1918, in Great Bend, the daughter of George and Martha Ann McGinty Devine.
A longtime area resident, she was a Certified Nurse’s Aide for St. Joseph Hospital, the Hammond Holiday Home, and was a private care giver for 30 years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society in Larned.
On Oct. 5, 1936, she married Roy E. Robinson in Seward. He passed away on Nov. 30, 1971.
Survivors include: three sons, Larry Robinson, Topeka, Ronnie and Donald Robinson, both of Larned; three grandchildren, Dale Robinson, Roy Robinson and Holly Rivera; fifteen great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Lonald Ray Robinson; a brother, Hubert Devine; a sister, Elaine Moore; a granddaughter, Sherry Robinson and a nephew, Charles Moore.
Vigil will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Larned, with Father Warren Stecklein presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery, Larned.
