ELLINWOOD — Eric “Butch” Muehleisen, 54, died Dec. 19 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was born Feb. 25, 1959, at Seattle, Wash., the son of Eric E. and Dolores (Selby) Muehleisen. He married Sharon Choitz on March 30, 1979, at Ellsworth. He worked for Golden Belt Printing, Great Bend, as a graphic artist.
Butch was an Ellinwood resident since 1988, coming from Ellsworth, and a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Ellinwood.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, Eric A. Muehleisen and wife Brenda of Hays; two daughters, Shay Kasselman of Ellinwood, and  Lindsey Eicher and husband Reuben of Elkhart, Ind.; mother, Dolores Muehleisen, Manhattan; one brother, Steve Muehleisen, Great Bend; one sister, Kristin Muehleisen of Manhattan; and six grandchildren, Jacob Kasselman, Joel Kasselman, Carter Muehleisen, Parker Muehleisen, Kyvel Eicher and Averem Eicher.
Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec., 21, at St. John Lutheran Church in Ellinwood with the Rev. Jeffery Frakes officiating. Memorials are suggest to St. John Lutheran Church or Eric “Butch” Muehleisen Medical Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
