WICHITA — Eric L. Gillett, 38, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017, after a long battle with cancer, at his home surrounded by his friends and family.
He was born April 12, 1979, in Wichita.
Eric is survived by his mother, Vicki Gillett; siblings, Julie (Joseph) Schartz, Gary (Dena) Gillett, and Brian Gillett; aunts, Linda (Rick) Deibert and Carey (Terry) Berry; uncle, Kevin (Barb) Berry; niece, Australia Schartz; nephew, Saber Schartz; many cousins, extended family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Gillett; brother, Steve Gillett; and grandparents, Rex Berry, Betty Robbins, Edith Richards, and Chester and Olga Gillett.
Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Wednesday with the funeral service at 2 p.m. Thursday, both at Reflection Pointe Funeral and Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Road in Wichita. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Oberlin Cemetery in Oberlin. The family encourages guests to dress casually in their K-State attire.
