LARNED — Eric Rulon Colglazier, 61, died Dec. 7, at Hays Medical Center. He was born May 3, 1949, in Great Bend, the son of Harlan Dean and Jadene Eva Stickler Colglazier. A lifetime Pawnee County resident, he was a registered nurse for Larned State Hospital.
Mr. Colglazier was a member of and a deacon at the First Southern Baptist Church, Larned, and also participated in Team Kids.
On May 28, 1972, he married Ruth Elaine Crane at Wathena, She survives.
Other survivors include his mother, Jadene E. Colglazier, Larned; a son, Mark and wife Jenny, and a daughter Shara Boman and husband Gale, all of Larned; a brother, Andrew Colglazier, Brownwood, Texas; four sisters, Beth Kolb, Plano, Texas, Jean Knapp, Springfield, Mo., Jennifer Yocum, Lawrence, and Erin Robertson, Tigard, Ore.; and five grandchildren, Jordan Colglazier, Cabela Boman, Lauragail Boman, Jacob Colglazier and David Colglazier. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Slattery presiding. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Zook.
