LA CROSSE — Ervin J. “Tex” Kober, 78, La Crosse, Kan., died Monday, June 11, 2018, in Hays, Kan.
Mr. Kober was born Oct. 16, 1939, in Bison, Kan., the son of Frank and Viola (Krestine) Kober. He was a lifelong resident of Rush County, Kan. He was a recycler before his retirement.
Survivors include, two brothers, Donald Kober (Dalene), La Crosse, Kan.; and Raymond Kober (Kathy), Great Bend, Kan.; and two sisters, Grace Harris (Carl), Mt. Gilead, N.C.; and Lillian Cross (Steve), St. George, Utah.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Alvin Kober.
