HOISINGTON — Evelyn V. Hammerschmidt, 71, died Feb. 25, 2017, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Born Jan. 3, 1946, in Hoisington, she was the daughter of Adolph and Mary (Demel) Gerritzen. In 1964, she graduated from Hoisington High School.
