F. Paul Miller, 83, died Dec. 10 at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned. He was born March 19, 1928, at Selden, the son of Morton and Adelaide (Gage) Miller. He married Augusta Zeilinger on June 19, 1958, at Heidelberg, Germany. He was a Great Bend resident since 2002, coming from Mundelein, Ill.
Mr. Miller was a retired career U.S. Army veteran during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; one brother, John Alden Miller and his wife Joyce of Junction City; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ester Hedge.
Vigil service with rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m., Thursday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend, with Father Reginald A. Urban, celebrant. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Prince of Peace Parish, in care of the funeral home.
