Fern Boger, 91, died Sept. 2, 2015, at Brookdale Senior Living in Tulsa, Okla. Born Aug. 4, 1924, in Hoisington, she was the daughter of John and Lydia (Eichman) Lust. On Jan. 2, 1946, she married Emanuel Boger in Hoisington. He died on July 7, 2014. A resident of Great Bend since 1947, coming from Hoisington, she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Boger was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend.
Survivors include one daughter, Judy Belford and her husband Robert of Tulsa, Okla.; one sister, Wilma Demel of Hoisington; two grandchildren, Heather Martin of Tulsa, Okla., and Jeremy Belford of Tulsa, Okla., and six great-grandchildren, Molly Summers, Emma Summers, Parker Belford, Braden Martin, Madison Martin and Mia Martin. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Lust and Roland Lust.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend with the Rev. Mark P. Galbraith officiating. Burial will be at the Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., on Monday, at Bryant Funeral Home.
