BURDETT — Fern I. Rodebaugh, 91, died Nov. 28 at Derby.
She was born June 24, 1920, at Unadilla, Neb. the daughter of Jesse and Sabra French Van Horn. Fern graduated from Burr High School. She was a retired worker in the Dietary Department at Larned State Hospital.
She belonged to Burr Methodist Church, Burr, Neb., and American Legion Auxiliary, Burdett.
She married Wilbur Neal Rodebaugh. He died in 1965. Fern was a longtime resident of Burdett, before moving to Derby to be near family.
Survivors include son, Larry and wife Patricia Rodebaugh, Foley, Mo.; two daughters, Carol Burket, Derby and Sharon Beach and husband Ron, Hutchinson; three grandchildren, Tamera, Christal and Brian and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Lee Rodebaugh and a son-in-law, Charles Burket, two brothers, Emmett and Allen Van Horn and sister, Vera Wachter.
Funeral Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1 at Faith Fellowship Church, rural Burdett, with Pastor Roger Alford presiding. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Morell Funeral Home, Larned. Burial will be in the Browns Grove Cemetery. Burdett.
