BURDETT — Frank D. Price, 75, passed away July 17, 2017 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita.
He was born June 19, 1942 in Larned, the son of Clovis and Mabel Schenk Price. A lifetime area resident he was a farmer/rancher.
He was a member of the Faith Fellowship Church, on the Burdett Co-op board, UMC Ministerial council board and an outreach minister for the Believers Enjoying Eternal Fellowship. On Aug. 13, 1983, he married Betty Bright (Nuckolls). She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Daniel (Traci) Nuckolls, Burdett; four daughters, Melissa Ann Lamp, Wichital; Cara Sue (Terry) Ryan, Rozel; Nona Kay (Cecil) Stinemetz, Urbandale, Iowa; and Dona Rae Nuckolls, Larned; two brothers, Bill (Lois) Price, Rozel; and Kenneth (Cristina) Price, Arkansas City; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Price, and a sister, Kayla Vulgamore.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Faith Fellowship Church, with Pastor Doug Ellison presiding. Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. Burial will be in the Brown’s Grove Cemetery, Burdett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Faith Fellowship Church, Burdett EMS or the Believers Enjoying Eternal Fellowship (BEEF) program, all in care of Beckwith Mortuary, P.O. Box 477, Larned, KS, 67550.
