PRATT — Frank J. Reif, 99, died July 26, at Hilltop Manor in Cunningham. Born Oct. 1, 1913 in Claflin, he was the son of Alois and Anna (Hitschmann) Reif. On Aug. 16, 1939 he married Salome M. Moeder in Odin. She preceded him in death on Jan. 15, 2000. He was a farmer.
Mr. Reif was a member of the St. Leo Catholic Church in St. Leo, and Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include five sons, Melvin (Glenna) Reif of Kiowa, Kenny (Lynn) Reif of Lawrence, Mike (Terri) Reif of Pratt, Jerry Reif of Seattle, Wash., and Randy (Georgia) Reif of Cairo; two daughters, Connie Voss of Pratt, and Marlene (Dwayne) Kruckenberg of Kiowa; a sister, Jean Moeder of Great Bend; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Salome; a son, Ed; three brothers, Msr. Steve, Tony, Lawrence; and two sisters, Irene Polzin and Emma Prosser.
Mass of Christian Burial was held 10:30 a.m. on  July 30, at St. Leo Catholic Church, St. Leo, with the Reverend Floyd McKinney presiding. Burial was at the St. Leo Catholic Cemetery, St. Leo.
