OTIS — Fredrick P. “Fred” Fuhr, 67, died Feb. 10, 2016, at Wesley Woodlawn Hospital and ER in Wichita. Born July 21, 1948, in Great Bend, he was the son of Paul A. and Eunice D. (Morgenstern) Fuhr. In 1966 he graduated from Great Bend High School. On April 6, 1993, he married Niki Van Dyke at Wichita. A lifetime resident of Great Bend, he was a meat market manager for Dillon’s before his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Niki Fuhr of Otis; one son, Jason Fuhr, of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Gina Fuhr of McPherson; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Doug Fuhr, Great Bend. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family has chosen cremation. There are no services planned at this time.
